My Ikigai on behalf of 5* hotels in Paros, Santorini, Mykonos, Zakynthos, Ios and Crete is conducting the screening and interviewing process, in pursuit of experienced Front Office Agents. This is a seasonal position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Always following the department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in the right way, aiming to achieve the highest guest satisfaction.
- Always demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the hotel’s facilities and amenities, room categories & their specifications, island attractions and points of interest and entertainment, external partnerships and travel arrangements (ferry and airplane schedules, transfers etc.)
- Providing exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded throughout their stay
- Greeting guests upon arrival, assisting with check-in, and providing them with necessary information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Efficient handling of all cashiering functions including but not limited to cash and credit card charges, currency exchange, cashiering close, correct invoicing, correct billing, collecting and checking cash & receipts from departments that close during the shift.
- Handling guest complaints, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Actively participating in promotion and selling of hotel’s services and F&B facilities, as well as external collaborations (ex. Cruises, rentals, transfers, restaurants etc.), to obtain hotel’s financial goals.
- Coordinating with the concierge, housekeeping, and other hotel teams to ensure seamless service delivery and a memorable guest experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or related field.
- Minimum 2 seasons experience as a Front Office Agent in a 5* hotel.
- Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional language will be considered an asset.
- Proficient knowledge of PMS and the Microsoft Office
- Very good interpersonal skills, team player, flexibility, problem-solving and guest orientation.
