My Ikigai on behalf of 5* hotels in Paros, Santorini, Mykonos, Zakynthos, Ios and Crete is conducting the screening and interviewing process, in pursuit of experienced Housekeeping Managers. This is a seasonal position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are constantly followed and in the right way by all team members, aiming to achieve the highest guest satisfaction.
- Ensuring that all housekeeping employees are constantly anticipating all guests’ needs.
- Inspecting the cleanliness of rooms and public areas (both guest and staff areas) in the hotel.
- Scheduling and assigning tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring productivity and adequate coverage.
- Handling guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness and ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
- Maintaining records of housekeeping activities, including inventory levels, room inspections, staff performance, and maintenance issues.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation, safety protocols, and the proper use of chemicals and equipment.
- Leading, training, and supervising housekeeping staff, providing ongoing guidance and ensuring they adhere to quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager in a 5* hotel.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English language.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and hotel PMS.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player, flexibility, problem-solving and guest orientation.
